Chef David Watt has released his first cookbook, which showcases recipes and stories from 30 different Chefs in Canada’s regional food and wine Mecca, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. ‘Feast of Friends’ invites you to peruse the gorgeous pictures and pick out a recipe that looks delicious. Check your fridge and pantry, throw on some tunes, and go make a mess in the kitchen.

He is truly excited about his latest project as his book also shines a light on the intensity and the sometimes grueling aspects of working in a kitchen. His hope is that it will raise awareness and inspire others to instill a code of kindness, patience, and respect in the workplace. A portion of profits is marked for donation to support the next generation of chefs struggling with their mental health.

The colourful recipes and beauty of the region were brought to life by photographer Mike McColl, who slipped behind the scenes to capture the authentic creative culinary process and the bounty of the seasons. It features signature dishes, classic favourites, comfort food and late-night snacks and retails for $45 at select locations in the Niagara region.
